Skating Tournament : Mahesh Balbhavan has internationl standard Skating rink which has attracted many skating players and created many skating champions. Just recently, we have held Inter – School skating tournament in which students participated. Beginners, waked, in-line were the categories based on the age-group of the children. Medals to the winners Aakash Ganesh of Seva Sadan Highschool, Radheya Shivarkar, Kartik-Chandra of Singhgadh Highschool, Aswait Khachankar of Vikhe – Patil School as well as certificates to all the participates define the quality of the tournament. We even permit other schools to conduct their roller skating tournaments and it even involves India – Pakistan Matches. All of these activities have hit the headlines of Sakal and ‘The Herald’ newspaper. This huge skating rink has not only popularized Balbhavan to the district level. The golden boy Siddharth Kamble who emerged as an international player has added beautiful feather of name and fame to it’s cap. Also, Aishwarya Gawde of Mahesh Balbhavan emerged as the fastest skater in Inter – School skating tournament held by Vikhe – Patil School of Pune.
Dance Competition The Mega organization of Inter-school Dance Competition is being done from last 7 years. Around 25 – 30 Schools participate from all over Pune District. The basic objective behind the project is to keep on enhancing the value of traditional and classical dances against the popularity of western dances and exhilarate the qualitative skills of the performer artists. The wonderful imagination and the graceful presentation of the schools from the nearby places of Pune District fulfills the motive of the programme and makes it a real success. The sponsorer of this pretty activity is the Chairman of Safe Pack Industries Shri Rajendreji Tapadia. The attractive prizes are being given to the winners from the small and big groups as well as ‘Tapadia Trophy‘ is being given to the ‘Topmost Performers’ from all classified groups.
Drawing Competition Every Year Drawing Competition is open to all the school of Pune. Around 1300 – 1400 students from the age group 5 to 13 years participate in different 5 groups according to their age. The enthusiastic children work wonders beyond our imagination and their display has always been a challenge for the Judges to judge. The best five in each group has been awarded. We certify all of the children’s skills to nurture the value of participation in their growing minds. We exhibit their drawings to keep their spirit high forever and the interested students benefit themselves from the valuable guidance of our expert drawing teachers.
